A substantial piece of natural raw Amber with a rugged, unpolished exterior and beautiful color hidden beneath the darker natural surface.

In ordinary lighting, this specimen appears deep brown to black with reddish-brown and cognac areas throughout. When illuminated from the side, sections of the Amber become translucent, revealing warm golden yellow, orange and red tones beneath the exterior.

Under UV light, broad areas of the specimen display a striking blue fluorescence, creating a dramatic contrast to its appearance in normal lighting.

This is an excellent piece for the collector who enjoys raw Amber exactly as it formed rather than as a polished or heavily worked specimen.

Raw Amber may contain natural fissures, pits, weathered areas, surface layers and areas that flake or shed small fragments during handling or shipping. Minor surface flaking is normal for raw Amber and should not be considered damage.

The blue photographs were taken under ultraviolet lighting to demonstrate fluorescence. The vivid blue appearance is a UV reaction and is not the color of the Amber under ordinary lighting.
